Starting Anew....
So this will be my second attempt at blogging. My plan is to try and update, but in the past that hasn't been as easy as I thought it would be. I spent the majority of my evening, designing this lovely page so I hope I actually use it!!
Earlier today I finally thought of a quirky name - all of my blogger friends seem to be so creative when it comes to that...so I tried my best. After months of trying to figure one out, I decided to take to the celebrity blog sites, and mesh Dan and I's name together....like Ben & Jen...Beniffer...so I came up with Darin...hence, Darin Adventures. Not that we go on many "adventures", but life is an adventure...and we are daring to travel through it together!
Summer has quickly flown by. Tomorrow is going to be my last Friday of vacation. I will be going back to work on Tuesday. I am very ready to get back into a normal schedule, but I have thoroughly enjoyed being able stay at home with Madison this summer. She is just growing into such a beautiful young lady! She is definitely teaching me a lot about being a parent, a lot about myself, and a lot about how a family should be.
We went shopping the other day with my Grandma and my Mom. It was definitely a great day. Miss Madison was of course spoiled. I can't wait to put her in her new outfits and take pictures! They are actually fall outfits, so it may be a while before I can get her into them without making her sweat!
I have so much to do in so little time. I have been decorating Madison's bedroom, something that should have happened a long time ago, but we have been having a great time designing it together! So far so good! Now that I started painting though, I just don't want to stop...but with such little time left...I'm sure it's not going to happen.
Anyway, I hope that I am able to keep up with this one...
